Please provide us with as much information as possible on your target car such as Your Budget, Make, Model, Year, Engine Size, Acceptable Milage, Preferred Colours, etc.
We will then find the availability and give you an estimate of the total cost.
When you decide to go ahead after your feasibility study, we ask you to place a deposit of 10% of the estimated value of your target car (minimum €1,000). This deposit is refundable before a car is purchased at the auction on your behalf.

Potential cars to be presented to you will come only with a safe and high quality. Together with our Japanese auction agent, our Japanese native staff in Ireland will provide you with as much information as possible on the condition of the car. This process is normally carried out roughly without Japanese staff in Ireland, i.e. they can not tell you exactly how small scratches exist on the body.

Searching process normally takes a couple of weeks.
Once you find your favorite car, it is time to bid on it. As you normally do for standard web bidding such as eBay, you specify your maximum bid price. We recommend you to set it at the average max auction price for the specified car in order to ensure your winning. Many bids can be won under the max price and you can instantly save the purchase cost.
Once the bidding ends successfully, we will require you to pay, within 3 working days, the net sum of the value of the car, Japanese agent's FOB and bidding handling charge, inland transportation fee, documentation fee, ocean freight and marine insurance: First Payment on the Payment Steps.
Please note that once the car is reserved after the successful bidding, the deposit cannot be refunded since our Japanese agent needs to pay related fees and penalties using your deposit.
Japanese used cars normally come in very good condition (due to its strict servicing regulation, Shaken), but if you wish, optional servicing can be arranged with the net price. Servicing fee normally costs approximately 300 Euro.
The shipment will be arranged swiftly. Car carriers from Japan to Ireland sail on a monthly basis and the actual sailing takes nearly a month. This leads to 5 to 8 weeks from the date of your order to the arrival of the ship in Ireland.
We will coordinate all the documentation and procedures for custom clearance on the Ireland side, before and during the arrival of the vessel.
3 weeks before the arrival of the vessel, we will require you to pay the net sum of import duties, VAT, port and custom charges plus our fee: Second Payment on the Payment Steps
Vehicle Registration Tax is calculated by the local Vehicle Registration Office (VRO), based on OSMP, Irish Open Market Value considering the year of the make, engine size and mileage.
We will aquire the price for VRT and send you the final invoice covering VRT and net delivery fee, minus your deposit: Final Payment on the Payment Steps.
Upon the receipt of your final payment, we will pay VRT, then VRO will issue the registration number listing you as the first Irish owner. The car is now delivered to your doorstep. The number plate can be made by any car dealer.
